Draft — to be finalised before launch.
The learn portal provides weekly questionnaires and evidence collection tools for students enrolled in supported Deakin University units. It is a support and verification tool. It does not replace official university assessment, OnTrack, or tutor decisions.
Only current Deakin students in eligible units may create accounts and submit. You must use a valid Deakin email address.
When you select a target grade (P, C, D, or HD) it determines the questions you receive. You may change your target freely until you submit your first questionnaire for a given week. After that submission your target is used as the default for future weeks. Jumping targets requires discussion with the unit coordinator or service operator.
Windows are deliberately short (typically 1–2 days). Submitting outside the window is not possible. This is to maintain fairness for all students.
You must submit only accurate information about work you have personally completed. Uploading someone else’s video, using old recordings for current tasks, or misrepresenting your contributions is a serious breach and will be reported.
When required or chosen, your video should be a genuine recent recording in which you clearly explain and demonstrate your work. We analyse the content (transcript + visual verification) to check alignment with your questionnaire claims.
The portal produces a recommendation ("on track", "discussion recommended", etc.). Final decisions about your progress rest with your tutor/unit using official channels.
See the separate Privacy Policy. By using the portal you consent to the collection and limited processing described (including video analysis).
The service is provided in good faith. We are not liable for any academic outcomes, lost data (beyond reasonable backups), or indirect damages.
